This exceptionally eclectic singer is capable of performing Rossini just as well as Wagner, along with switching from a baritone to a tenor voice. He has a voice filled with nobility, featuring an extraordinary three-octave range and appealing through warmly enveloping lows as well as clear, generous highs. This American ‘baritenor’ performs on the most prestigious stages in repertoires ranging from baroque to the 20th century, notably including bel canto, French Grand Opera and Wagner.
