Reduced Mobility
In order to accommodate the largest possible number of people, the Opéra de Lausanne offers an access ramp in front of its main entrance (as an extension of the sidewalk on the Théâtre Restaurant side), with an elevating platform to reach the reserved seats on the floor, as well as the private toilets.
Parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility are located on Avenue du Théâtre and Rue Beau-Séjour. If the aforementioned are used, access to the Opéra is via the Artists’ Entrance (Beau-Séjour 23).
The Opéra’s staff is pleased to accompany you to your seat.

Night of the show
SHOW SCHEDULES
Opera and our bar open one hour before showtime; auditorium opens 30 minutes before showtime. Latecomers are only allowed into the auditorium at the end of an act or as directed by our reception staff. In the meantime, they can watch the show live on a screen in the Salon Alice Bailly.
AGE LIMIT
The Opéra de Lausanne is happy to welcome young spectators from the age of 6, under adult supervision. An ID may be required and access to performances refused in the event of non-compliance, without any refund.
Unless age is specified, parents are responsible for finding out in advance whether the show suitable for their children’s age.
PROGRAMS & LIBRETTOS
“On the evenings of opera performances, we offer a program containing the complete distributions, the synopsis and an introductory text of the work for CHF 7.-. Librettos can be downloaded from our website, under each show page, approximately one month before the premiere.
COAT CHECK
Coat check is offered and available at the main entrance.
SUBTITLES
Subtitles are shown for each show in English and French.
BOOSTER SEATS
Booster seats are available at the entrance of the doors in the main auditorium.
